The Russian company Bosco di Ciliegi, which specializes in the sale of luxury clothing and luxury goods, plans to enter the world market by opening its branded stores in France and Switzerland. The international expansion will start with the launch of stores in Courchevel, St. Moritz and Basel.
Bosco will open its first street retail stores by 2020, according to market sources. It is expected that the main demand for Bosco products will be formed, including by Russian tourists. At the first stage, one store will be opened in each of the cities, the retailer's further plans for development in international markets have not yet been disclosed.
“We are working on international expansion. It's true. If we succeed, then it will be December 2019, and if we fail, then 2020, respectively,” commented Mikhail Kusnirovich, founder and main owner of Bosco di Ciliegi.
During the Olympic Games, Bosco di Ciliegi had already opened its temporary stores in Turin and London. For seven Olympic cycles, from 2002 to 2016, the company acted as the official outfitter of the Russian team.
Today, the company's portfolio includes more than 100 luxury brand stores located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and other major Russian cities. The company also manages its own sportswear brand, Bosco Sport, established in 2001. As of the beginning of 2019, the network includes 14 stores in Moscow (including 5 at airports), 4 in Sochi, one each in St. Petersburg, Samara and Krasnodar.
