adidas has officially unveiled the Fall/Winter 2019 Spezial collection.
The line of the new clothing collection is inspired by the style of Northern England and, in particular, British football fans in the cold season. Many silhouettes originate from archival models of past collections of the brand.
In Russia, as well as around the world, the start of sales is scheduled for October 11: sneakers will be available at a price of 9 thousand rubles, clothes - from 5 to 13 thousand, jackets will cost 20 thousand. Products will be presented in limited quantities, so a virtual queue will be organized on the official website.
The new collection includes things created from utilitarian and wear-resistant material. The latest version of the Spezial range successfully combines adidas Originals' rich sportswear heritage with cutting-edge engineering and performance fabrics.
Standout pieces from the new collection include a waterproof, two-tone Belthorn anorak with a detachable hood, a design nod to adidas vintage models. The jacket is made of canvas with a water-repellent coating that protects against light rain. It is accompanied by a padded polyester vest that easily fits into the anorak as a water-resistant liner.
The apparel collection also includes a seam-sealed Rossendale parka, crafted from breathable material, complete with a storm flap and detachable hood. Another interesting piece is the Sunnyhurst jumper in soft terry jersey with a '90s-inspired loose silhouette.
Footwear for the new season of Spezial includes the vintage-inspired SL 80 SPZL sneaker with grippy rubber soles for wet streets, finished in classic navy blue with gold accents. The new season also features a model in premium Hoddlesden SPZL leather that combines the vintage DNA of other classic adidas sneakers from past SPZL collections. Complementing the shoe line is the high-top Winterhill SPZL with a durable leather upper, which is also updated with elements of adidas archival silhouettes.
