The new feature is available to Amazon app users on iOS devices.
Amazon Fashion Europe has announced the launch of a new virtual try-on technology. The function is integrated into the new line of sunglasses from the world's leading brands.
On the website of Amazon Europe more than 1.5 thousand frames are currently presented with the possibility of “trying on” online. The line includes Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Hawkers, Polaroid and other brands.
The company notes that the new service will allow buyers to choose the right frame with confidence and the opportunity to view the result before buying from different angles. The feature was introduced amid the growing popularity of immersive shopping in Europe. Amazon Fashion promises to add more sunglasses with virtual try-on options, as well as launching a similar service for sneakers and other products.
“We are very excited to bring another innovative feature to our Amazon Fashion customers. Finding the perfect pair of sunglasses online that you'll love and wear all year is now easy and fun with virtual try-on technology,” said Ruth Diaz, Vice President of Amazon Fashion Europe.
