Apple has introduced a new version of AirPods wireless headphones - a device whose design has not changed much has appeared on sale in the online store.
Apple decided not to change the design and even the color of the headphones, although fans of the brand were confident in the appearance of various colors, such as black. The earbuds are powered by the new H1 chip, which achieves a more stable wireless connection, as well as faster data transfer. According to Apple, the speed when switching between devices in the new device increases up to two times, and when making phone calls - one and a half times.
When using headphones while playing video games, signal delay has been reduced by 30%. The device is equipped with an accelerometer that recognizes the user's voice call and, through special microphones, filters external noise, improving sound quality.
The new AirPods also have the ability to activate Siri with your voice. Previously, to call Siri, you had to touch one of the headphones twice, now it’s enough to say the familiar “Hey Siri” to everyone and the voice assistant will start working.
Important changes have been made to the headphone case, which provides multiple charge cycles with more than 24 hours of use. The updated case supports wireless charging and has a charge indicator on the outside. This was done by popular demand from the owner of the previous version of the headphones.
AT Apple Reportthat the new AirPods are capable of listening to music for five hours without recharging, and also function in active conversation mode for three hours. A 15-minute charge of the device in the case extends the AirPods by three hours of music listening or two hours of talk time, the presentation notes. To check the charge level, just use Siri or bring the device to your smartphone. New headphones in a regular case are available in the Russian Apple online store for 13,500 rubles, and the version with a wireless charging case costs 17,000 rubles.
