The Japanese company Bandai, specializing in the production of video games, has announced the creation of a new version of the Tamagotchi electronic toy.
The new device, outwardly similar to its predecessor, will receive a 2.25-inch color screen. On the oval case, under the display, there will be, as before, three control buttons.
The new device, called Tamagotchi On, will go on sale at the end of July 2019. The official website of the manufacturer is counting down to the date of the official release of new items. The Tamagotchi On will cost $60. The device is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
The new version of Tamagotchi can be synchronized with a smartphone via Bluetooth and LTE, which expands the game experience, thereby allowing you to receive and give gifts, participate in various holidays, as well as exchange pets with friends and send them on vacation to visit other pets. The same features will be available to Tamagotchi owners via infrared and a special Playdate mode, through which pets can find new friends.
The owner of the game, as before, will take care of his beloved pet: feed, play, walk and put to bed. In the new version of Tamagotchi, pets will be able to make friends with each other, go to visit and start a family in which 16 generations can live. The main goal of the game, its creators say, as before, is to maintain the life and well-being of a virtual pet.
