Groups on the go
Beluga – group mobile messaging service, was created in July 2010. Since March 2011 belongs companies Facebook.
The main purpose of the service is to provide the ability to communicate with several users at once. You can create a group of friends (which in Beluga called “Pod”) and only send messages to that group. If one of your friends does not have a smartphone, he will receive an SMS message. Such a service can be useful if a group of friends, for example, needs to agree on plans for a specific day (or evening), or maybe just tell a few people about something or share photos, you can also transfer the coordinates of the place where you are.
This small startup is created and developed by the efforts of three people: Ben Davenport (Ben Davenport), Lucy Zhang (Lucy Zhang) and Jonathan Perlow (Jonathan Perlow). All three worked for the company before starting their own business. Google.
The software (for iOS and Android) can be downloaded completely free of charge, authorization takes place through an existing account on the network Facebook.
