best buy и CinemaNow drove yet another nail into the coffin of the DVD and CD era. In the coming months, according to Los Angeles Times, the launch of a new on-line service will be announced - the purchase of films in digital form via the Internet.
The service doesn't have a name yet, but Best Buy Inc. the largest DVD retailer and CinemaNow, the company providing on-line video, have already closed a deal and are making the most optimistic plans. It is planned to make such a service available for most electronic devices, in ten years a rare iron will not be able to download new movies.
The convenience of such a service is undeniable, and if the price is acceptable, then there is every chance to displace not only physical media, but also pirated movie downloads, beloved in our country.
