Singer Billie Eilish has officially unveiled her own design of Air Jordan 15 sneakers, developed in collaboration with Nike.
In the updated version, the model will be sold in light beige and minimalist design. The shoes will feature the traditional numbers 23, 6, and 15, referring to Michael Jordan's jersey number, NBA championships he won, and model number, respectively.
In addition, the new version of the Billie Eilish X Air Jordan 15 will feature the singer's name and logo, which she drew at the age of fifteen, on the tongue. It was considered one of the weakest shoes in the Air Jordan line, but Eilish chose to work with it because she has been wearing these sneakers since childhood and finds them comfortable. According to the singer's own recollections, at the moment when she finally received the long-awaited pair, the sneakers looked like they cost a million dollars.
For Billie Eilish, this is not the first collaboration with Nike in recent times. Previously, the Billie Eilish X Air Jordan 1 KO model was presented, the design of which the singer developed independently. Eilish especially commended the shape of these sneakers for how they go with everything from skirts to shorts.
Sustainability plays a big role in collaboration. Like the singer herself, both models are vegan, created without any animal products. What's more, they are made from recycled materials on more than 20%. Both models are due September 30th in select Nike stores as well as digital channels.
