Unilever reports that the drink may be contaminated with bacteria Bacillus cereuscausing diarrhea, vomiting, etc. In any case, loss of appetite is definitely guaranteed.
US Food and Drug Administration spokesperson Rita Chappelle said 10 million cans of the drink will be recalled.
Unilever said it is still trying to identify and fix a manufacturing problem that led to massive food contamination. Management inspects the company's plant in Covington, Tennessee.
Now canned drinks series Slim Fast are recalled from all stores, from the warehouses of wholesale companies - regardless of the type of flavoring additives used, shelf life, etc.
For other branded products Slim Fast, the review does not apply.
