Company's line of digital cameras Sony. Mobile phones are also produced under this brand. Sony Ericsson (a separate "C" series, previously included in the "K" series), the distinguishing feature of which is the presence of an improved camera.
Work on digital cameras cyber-shot started in 1995. In 1996, the first camera appears - the DSC-F1 model with a resolution of 0.3 megapixels. The camera stored images exclusively in the built-in memory, since memory cards that satisfied Sony engineers simply did not exist then. It was then that the development of the Memory Stick began. Since then, these memory cards have become a kind of "calling card" cyber-shot. To the displeasure of other users, since the purchase of a camera also entailed the purchase of a memory card (very expensive by the way), nowhere except in devices Sony unused and a card reader for it. This problem was not worried only by people who actively use the equipment of this company.
Since then, the line has grown strongly, it includes both models for beginners and advanced users. All of them are united by the obligatory presence of the prefix "DSC" - "Digital Still Camera".
First phone cyber-shot appeared in 2006 - model K800i. Although this is not the company's first phone with a "photographic" bent - the K750 has appeared before, but it has not yet belonged to the Cyber-shot. These phones became a separate series "C" later - in 2007. All SE Cybershot necessarily have a flash, image stabilizer and autofocus. The manufacturer has never chased the number of megapixels.
