American company brand Electronic Arts is one of the leading developers of entertainment software. Under it go sports simulators. EA SPORTS appeared in 1993. Naturally, sports games were produced by the company before that. However, the idea to separate them into a separate brand appeared only in the early 90s. Virtually all leading entertainment software vendors have similar brands. But it is EA SPORTS that has been the most famous for a long time.
EA SPORTS is inextricably linked to EA Sports Network (EASN) - imitation of real championships, with photos, statistics, demonstration of achievements, statements from famous sports commentators. All this is done in order to attract additional users to the games - it's still nice when your achievements become known all over the world.
