A Taiwanese manufacturer of computer components, turnkey portable systems (including all-in-ones) and laptops. In our latitudes, the company is best known for its motherboards, which are not very prestigious, although the quality of these products is growing year by year.
Founded ECS was in 1987. Initially, she dealt exclusively with motherboards. Both under our own brand and for third-party manufacturers, in the form of OEM orders.
By 2000, it is possible to achieve a production of 1 million motherboards per month. The company's clients include such names as IBM, Apple (laptops iBook) and Compaq.

2005 was marked by the acquisition of another motherboard manufacturer - the company PCCHIPS. This brand was retained, although not too well known - inexpensive motherboards with integrated video are still produced under it. And in 2006 ECS acquires laptop manufacturer Uniwill. This allowed the company to enter new markets for portable computers.
To date, the number of motherboards produced per month is already in the tens of millions. ECS has representations in Europe, the USA, Japan and China. Its factories are located not only in Taiwan, but also in other countries of the Asian region.
Head Office Elitegroup Computer Systems is located in Taipei, Taiwan.
