Kraft Heinz has renewed its partnership with Ed Sheeran by introducing a joint line "Tingly Ted's Hot Sauce," inspired by the musician's childhood nickname.
The new hot sauce is available in two versions, "Tingly" and "Xtra Tingly. The product is based on notes of lemon and the smoky flavor of red jalapenos, capsicum chili, and a mixture of herbs and spices.
Kraft Heinz is positioning the new product as a "hot sauce ketchup," noting the growing consumer demand for the spiciest condiments. Tingly Ted's Hot Sauce is a versatile sauce suitable for any dish, from morning scrambles to late-night snacks.
“Before Tingly Ted’s I used a different hot sauce for every meal and for every dish. But there wasn’t one hot sauce that goes with everything, whether you’re eating in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. I wanted a game-changing hot sauce that does the lot – the ketchup of hot sauces. It didn’t exist, so I decided to make my own. And that’s how Tingly Ted’s was born,” said Ed Sheeran.
The official release of the new product is scheduled for March 1, and pre-orders have already begun on the Kraft Heinz website. Tingly Ted's will go on sale at retailers in the coming months.
