Fendi Casa is starting a new phase of life and hopes that the partnership with the Italian Design Holding will strengthen the position of the luxury furniture brand in the global market.
A division of famous Italian fashion house Fendi, which is part of the luxury furniture and homewares conglomerate LVMH, is relaunching its operations and working with a new partner. Having first introduced the Fendi Casa collection of luxury furniture in 1987, the company is now entering a new era of its development.
Due to the fact that the license to operate the structure together with the previous partner, Luxury Living, has expired, it is planned to restart the work in partnership with the Italian design group from Design Holding. The joint venture between Fendi Casa and Design Holding will be named Fashion Furniture Design and will further develop the luxury furniture and home furnishings business.
The joint venture plans to promote the Fendi Casa brand on the international market. Silvia Venturini Fendi, art director of the new company, will be responsible for the creative side of the business and maintaining the traditions of the design of the fashion house. According to the company's plans, the first creative project will be presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in January 2022.
For Design Holding, which already owns a number of well-known brands in the home furnishings market, including B&B Italia and Louis Poulson, the collaboration will be an opportunity to strengthen its position in luxury design. According to Gabriele Del Torchio, head of Design Holding: "The class and style of Fendi products, combined with Design Holding's leadership in the design market, will make this collaboration a winning partnership."
