Planet Kind branded shaving and skin care products come in recyclable packaging.
Today's shoppers are looking for products and brands that make a statement about sustainability and care for the future of the planet. In response to this, more and more manufacturers are moving to the “green” side and presenting their developments in this direction.
American brand Gillette, owned by Procter & Gamble, has developed a new brand of shaving and skin care products called Planet Kind. The main message of the new line of products was that they show kindness to the skin and at the same time to the whole planet.
The Planet Kind product line includes a range of shaving products - a razor with a handle, which on the 60% consists of recycled plastic, razor blades, moisturizer, cleanser and face cream.
Planet Kind's packaging is recyclable. According to the creators of the product, it is made of paper and plastic that can be recycled on the 85%, as well as aluminum that can be recycled endlessly.
To support the launch of the new line, Gillette has partnered with environmental organization Plastic Bank, which promises to prevent 10 plastic bottles from ending up in the ocean for every Planet Kind product purchased. Thus, buying any product with the inscription Planet Kind on the package, the buyer can do a small good deed.
