Google-owned brand Pixel has launched its first ever smartwatch.
The device complements the lineup, which also includes the new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The company said the smartwatch combines the best of Google and Fitbit.
The Pixel Watch is presented in a custom-made stainless steel case with a scratch-resistant round, domed dial.
The watch comes in three color variations of the case - “Champagne Gold,” “Matte Black,” and “Polished Silver”. In addition, customers can choose from 20 types of straps - from elastic and woven to leather and metal.
The Pixel Watch face is highly customizable and highly customizable. Thanks to integration with Fitbit, the watch collects health and fitness data, including heart rate monitoring, sleep indicators. Google also delivers basic data from Wallet, Maps, Google Assistant, Gmail, Calendar and YouTube Music to the watch owner.
"The watch combines the smarts and helpfulness you know and love from Google with Fitbit’s health and fitness expertise, all in an elegant design" Google said in a press release.
The company has already announced the start of pre-orders for the new product. The Pixel Watch starts at $350.
