One of the largest Chinese car manufacturers and the country's largest private company operating in this field. Great Wall Motor founded in 1976 in the city of Baoding, which is located in the province of Hebei (Baoding, Hebei, China), where to this day its head office is located.
GWM started as a small company (originally its full name looked like Baoding Great Wall Automobile Company), which produces miniature trucks, but over time turned into a holding of almost two dozen companies, some of which are engaged in the assembly of cars, and the rest in the production of components. In 1998 GWM becomes the largest pickup truck manufacturer in the Middle Kingdom, holding this title to this day.

| The new Great Wall logo is a combination of two letters - "G" and "W".|
However, this is not immediately noticeable. As for the ring around the logo,
then it symbolizes the very Great Wall of China.
The main products of the company are pickups, SUVs, SUVs and minibuses. The most famous model is the "SUV" Hover. Since 2007, quite successful attempts have been made to enter the passenger car market.
