Crocs is offering shoppers a little summer angst with two new collaborations.
The American footwear manufacturer Crocs is known for its unusual collaborations. In addition to the fact that simple clogs made of unique Croslite material are available in a variety of shades and color combinations, the brand often attracts attention with collaborations with famous personalities like Justin Bieber, as well as with other brands - shoppers still can't forget chicken flavored crocs from KFC.
But this year, the famous creator of summer shoes, famous for their comfort, decided to go even further.
Stiletto shoes
The spring-summer mood of 2021 will be marked for Crocs lovers with two new collaborations. First of all, the luxury fashion house announced cooperation with the shoe manufacturer Balenciaga. Together, the brands presented Balenciaga Crocs 2.0 shoes, the logo with a recognizable crocodile on them was replaced by the emblem of the fashion house.
This is the second collaboration between the companies and, as is often the case with Crocs, the opinions of fashion fans are divided. Someone liked bright green and black crocs with a thin stiletto heel and platform boots in an equally poisonous green hue. Others still can not digest the table an unusual "fashion dish". However, since the brand partnership is already very actively discussed in social networks, the shoes undoubtedly made a splash, and this is very important.
Shoes with mushrooms
However, Balenciaga is not the only Crocs partner this summer. The brand has also unveiled another unusual shoe line, in collaboration with producer and DJ Diplo. Mushrooms were chosen as the theme for the new models. In addition to the psychedelic tie-dye coloring, the new crocs have literally received mushroom figures from the Jibbitz accessories collection. Mushrooms in bright colors in the form of plastic inserts to decorate holes in the upper part even glow in the dark. In addition to two models of classic crocs, the partnership includes sandals with colored stripes in bright colors and also with mushroom figurines for decoration.
Crocs has become one of those brands that only added popularity during a pandemic. Largely due to its simplicity, convenience and versatility. Now the brand is betting on bright neon colors and aggressive style. According to many fashion experts, this is the direction that will be relevant for buyers who are emerging from quarantine and want to make up for lost time, including making high-profile fashion statements with their appearance and choice of accessories.
