Company Hewlett Packard announced the purchase 3Com , a well-known American manufacturer of equipment for computer networks, reports BBC . The transaction amount will be 2.7 million US dollars.
The acquisition will allow HP , the world leader in computers and computer technology, to provide consumers with a more complete range of products and services, and to gain market share in China (3 Com receives 55% from this country).
The transaction will be completed in the first quarter of 2010.
