With the Gingerbread Höme kit, you can bake gingerbread and make the most popular items from the Swedish retailer's collections.
What do people around the world most associate with New Year's holidays and winter family evenings? Of course, gingerbread houses! Manufacturer of everything related to home and home comfort, Swedish company IKEA I decided to keep the Christmas spirit alive and contribute to the enjoyment of gingerbread goodies.
The retailer has released a Gingerbread Höme kit (“Gingerbread House”), which is a diagram for the most popular IKEA models. But instead of MDF and fixtures, it is proposed to create armchairs and bookcases from gingerbread dough and glaze.

Gingerbread Höme's step-by-step instructions, which are exactly like standard IKEA furniture assembly diagrams, will help you assemble BILLY gingerbread bookshelves, a STRANDMON armchair, or even create an edible RENS rug. All you have to do is bake your favorite recipe for gingerbread dough, then cut out the pieces according to the IKEA templates and fold them into the desired piece of furniture. Further, it's all just a matter of fantasy, you can decorate chairs, tables and beds with icing, sweets or nuts, make the interior of your gingerbread house out of furniture, or even hang this edible beauty on the Christmas tree.
The kit is available for free download on the official website of the company. You can go even further, there are also files for download for a 3D printer that will help you create real shapes for cutting cookies.
