Yesterday, Sunday, January 9, it was ten years since one significant event - a media player appeared from Apple, named iTunes. No one then imagined that the appearance of this program was only the beginning of the coming revolution.
It seems that even Steve Jobs himself did not assume. Just success Napster led to the fact that users are increasingly using the computer to listen to music. Apple an “advanced” player was clearly required, which MacOS Classic 9 clearly could not boast of. Yes and iPod was already, at least, at the stage of conception.
To save time and resources, it was decided to entrust the creation of the program to a third-party developer. As a result, the company was chosen Cassady&Green, creator of the player soundjam.
