What began as a small family business in 1872 has now grown into one of the world's largest producers of liqueurs, fruit and berries - a little less than one quarter of world exports. A small family company was founded in the picturesque town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, which is located almost in the middle of the Burgundy region, widely known for its wines. It got its name from the name of the founder - Joseph Kartron.
