Apple will release all three new iPhone models in September, according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives.
Last year, Apple began selling the iPhone XS and XS Max in September, while those wanting to purchase the iPhone XR had to wait until October. This year, when all the processes have already been debugged, all three versions of the smartphone will go on sale at the same time. Ives says the new iPhone models will be released in the second week of September. This is a little earlier than previous forecasts, according to which the appearance of devices should be expected no earlier than September 20th.
Counts, Apple will continue work in the same direction as today, developing three models - the older ones with different screen sizes and the younger one, equipped with a large screen, but with slightly worse characteristics. At the same time, it is suggested that the younger iPhone will have an LCD screen this year and the company will make a full transition to OLED only by 2020. It is highly likely that older models may lose Force Touch technology (the screen recognizes the force of pressing), which turned out to be not particularly in demand among users. It has already been abandoned in the iPhone XR and this experiment was quite successful.
It is expected that this year's devices will not have any fundamental differences and will receive screens with the same diagonals. The main changes will affect the camera, which, presumably, will have three lenses. As for the cost of devices, the prices will not differ from last year, even despite the trade wars unleashed by Trump with China, as a result of which the cost of devices may increase (by some reports, in the amount of 75 to 100 dollars).
