The designer intends to fight top brands that have refused to cooperate.
Kanye West is going to sell hoodies from Yeezy, Balenciaga, Gap and adidas archival collections for $20 each. Thus, Ye will fight the policy of big brands that refused to cooperate with him.
A video has gone viral on social media showing West commenting on the upcoming sale while looking at samples from past collections.
“”So what we do here is, I’ve cut up like 100 hoodies. From Yeezy, from Balenciaga, stuff we did with Gap, stuff we did with adidas, and everything we do is gonna cost $20. We need to make sure that everyone can receive the same level of cut, the same level of food, same level of water and the same level of education” commented Ye.
“We are beings with engineering capabilities. We overcome the past. We are focused on the future,” added West. The musician's latest remarks seem to refer to a recent scandal that caused fashion brands to choose to terminate existing contracts.
Experts point out that the career of one of the most successful fashion designers is crumbling before our eyes. West has not yet announced when the sale of Yeezy and Balenciaga will begin, but it is assumed that the promotion will be launched in the very near future.
