adidas x Gucci have finally announced their long-awaited joint collection.
There's a retro-kitschy line that features a full range of bright, recognizable pieces ranging from Gazelle sneakers to sports jackets to baseball caps.
Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele decided to collaborate with the Adidas team, which has already been recognized as a true expert in luxury clothing after collaborating with Balenciaga and Prada. With an Adidas shamrock and three stripes, these Gucci-style garments are luxurious and vibrant.
Among the items in the collection are blouses and shirts, sports pants and overalls, skirts, bags, sandals and, of course, sneakers. The first images of the long-awaited collaboration were published on the official website on June 7. And on sale the collection will appear in special pop-up stores adidas x Gucci next week. Owners of premium My Gucci accounts and adidas Confirmed members will be the first to purchase unique items bearing the adidas x Gucci brand.
Prices for works created by adidas and Gucci, more in line with the policy of luxury brands. So, in particular, bags cost from $1,350 to $3,900 and sneakers cost $850 a pair. A T-shirt by adidas and Gucci can be bought for $700, a sweatshirt - for $1400, a jacket - for $2700, and even more.
