The unisex collection combines bright shades with holographic details and retro silhouettes.
German sportswear and footwear manufacturer Puma has unveiled a new collaboration with singer Dua Lipa, as part of a collaboration that began with the release of the first collection in April 2022.
The new line "Flutur" is a kind of tribute to the old school rave culture, symbolizing the transition, metamorphosis and new beginnings.
The unisex collection combines vibrant hues with holographic details and retro silhouettes, backed up with signature Dua Lipa details. The line includes striped T-shirts, leggings and tracksuits with lycra shorts (popular in the rave scene in the 90s) in pink, purple and bright orange. An additional touch is the new bright pink hair color of the performer, which fits perfectly into the collection.
Like previous collaborations, the main motif is built around graphic images of butterflies, which are intertwined with the Puma logo, creating something new.
“I felt like in the beginning, when I first started working on drop one, the butterfly already had a lot of meaning for me. Now, going to the second drop, that meaning has just solidified itself and become even more important in my life.” commented Dua Lipa.
The collection includes 30 items, among which the Flared T7 Tracksuit and the CELL Dome King sneakers, designed by the singer herself, stand out. The entire collection, which includes apparel, shoes and accessories, showcases Puma's signature Mayze Boot and Mayze Metallic silhouettes. Choreographer John Byrne and dancers from the singer's "Future Nostalgia" tour took part in a photo shoot in honor of the new collaboration of photographer Jordan Hemingway.
