"Virtual" fitting uses technologies based on neural networks.
Online store Lamoda, one of the largest Russian sellers of clothing and footwear, held a campaign "Find your style" to place banners with the possibility of "virtual" trying on clothes on the streets in the center of Moscow. Russ Outdoor, an outdoor advertising operator, is Lamoda's partner in the project.
Installed in places with high pedestrian traffic, banners are equipped with "smart" cameras that recognize the actions of users in front of a screen almost two meters high. You can manage the service using the palm of your hand, the position of which in front of the screen is fixed by cameras and sensors.
To activate the "virtual" fitting function, the user needs to raise his hand and choose one of the fashionable bows, which is made up of the goods presented in the Lamoda online store. After that, you need to take your own photo in a new image. If you wish, you can order all the selected items using a QR code.
The new interactive service offers a choice of nine male and nine female looks. Lamoda offers Muscovites a choice of three business, casual and sports styles. In addition, the banners have the ability to go to the website of the online store with more images. In total, 16 interactive banners were installed in Moscow as part of the project. They will be placed on the streets of the city until the end of September.
