A T-shirt and beret with Born This Way and Versace slogans are already available on the fashion house's website.
Lady Gaga, who has repeatedly collaborated with the fashion house Versace, presenting the brand's ultra-fashionable images and appearing in its advertising, announced an even closer interaction with the brand. The pop star and fashion house presented an exclusive capsule collection of clothes Pride Collection.
The line includes a T-shirt ($250) in black and white, as well as berets ($350), which actively use rainbow motifs, Born This Way lettering, as well as the symbol of the house of Versace - the head of Medusa. Items from the new collection are already available on the Versace website.
Also featured is a replica of Versace's iconic biker-style leather jacket with pointed shoulders, signature Versace brand metal accents and gold details, worn by the singer during her Born This Way Ball tour. The jacket, which took about 400 hours to create in the Milan atelier of the fashion house, will be put up for auction.
As Lady Gaga herself emphasized in an Instagram post, posting her photo in a new T-shirt and beret, the collection is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the release of her second studio album Born This Way, the song of the same name from which became the unofficial anthem of the LGBT community. Profits from sales of the collection will go to the Born This Way Foundation, which is represented by the singer. The main objective of the foundation is to support the mental health of young people.
