The set will go on sale February 4 for $180.
LEGO will release a new A-Frame Cabin set designed by Italian brand fan Andrea Lattanzio. The design was first proposed in early 2021 as part of the LEGO Ideas project. Within a year, it received more than 10,000 votes, thanks to which the company decided to turn the project into reality.
Representing a rustic Alpine house surrounded by nature, the A-Frame Cabin set consists of 2,082 pieces. The design features a removable roof, which opens up a play center with a desk, kitchen, and miniature typewriter.
Outside the house are themed trees, canoes, accessories, and as many as eleven animal figures. In addition, the set includes four minifigures dressed in winter attire. A-Frame Cabin is rounded out with an illustrated booklet with instructions and interviews with the set designers and Lattanzio.
The one-of-a-kind set will go on sale in LEGO stores as early as February 4, 2023, one year after design approval. The A-Frame Cabin will retail for $180. Early Access pre-orders will begin February 1.
