The competition “Absolute Brand-2012” named the most expensive aviation brand in Russia. They, as expected, became the largest air carrier Aeroflot, the brand has been valued at over a billion dollars.
Aeroflot is one of the twenty most expensive airlines from around the world. According to the company on its official website: “The estimated value of Aeroflot’s branded business in passenger transportation was $5.23 billion.” This is one of the few companies that can compete with foreign carriers.
The brand competition is held among companies operating in Russia. The first such award was held in 2006. The Grand Prix at this year's competition was won by the company Yandex.
