The collection is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the famous franchise that gave the world "pocket monsters" - Pocket Monsters.
Levi's and Pokemon announced the planned release of the capsule collection back in January, and now it is shown in full. Pokemon fans will love the nostalgic touch of this collaboration, featuring images of their favorite characters from the Pokemon universe.
The collection includes denim sets with shorts and jeans, t-shirts, caps and bags. The style is classic denim from Levi's, a recognizable cut that will be familiar to those who grew up in the 90s, the period of the birth of the Pokémon universe. Other things and accessories are also made in a classic style that always remains relevant.
The items in the collection are embroidered, such as the image of Pikachu or other characters. Pokemon lovers will love a yellow hat with recognizable pointy ears or a compact bag made in the form of a Pokemon ball.
The details are done with humor - few people will be indifferent to the Pikachu sleeping on the Levi's logo, Pokemon "hidden" in the bright green print of the jacket and jeans, or a small character embroidered on the leg, as if he is sitting next to a man wearing jeans.
According to Karin Hillman, Director of Production Control at Levi Strauss & Co., the collaboration with Pokémon was “a wonderful experience. Nostalgic, upbeat and kind of an escape from reality."
The new collection will be on sale on February 15th. The cost of individual items varies from 19 to 150 dollars.
