Nearly all shoppers returning to stores after lockdown are in "other sizes," Levi's said in a statement.

During the regime of self-isolation and forced pastime at home, accompanied by frequent snacks and lack of physical activity, many have simply gained excess weight and now have other body shapes. As a result, they can no longer come to the store and simply purchase the things that they chose before. Pre-fitting is indispensable now, the only problem is that many retailers have decided to keep fitting rooms closed for the time being for fear that they could spread the infection.
Many, but not all. So, the decision to open fitting rooms was made by the management Levi's. According to the company, which has already opened 35% stores in the US, visitors can freely try on the items they like without any fear. Fitting rooms must be sanitized after each use. Also, items that have been tried on are quarantined for 24 hours before being returned to the counter - as there are still concerns that the virus may linger on materials such as fabrics, many companies are implementing a similar policy. Items returned to the store after purchase are held by Levi's for 72 hours.
As noted in the company, buyers willingly go to the opened stores, in front of some of them there were even queues on the opening days. And yet, as Mark Rosen, Executive Vice President and President of Levi Strauss Americas, notes, “Consumers say they appreciate open fitting rooms.” At the same time, people do not just visit stores to ask the price and look at goods, as was often the case before, they come to make purchases and know exactly what they would like to purchase.
Meanwhile, Levi's share price increased by 8%. The market capitalization of the company is estimated at $6.1 billion.
