The "White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence" exhibit is open through mid-March.
French luxury retailer Louis Vuitton presented its first exhibition dedicated to the LV Trainer sneaker silhouette. The exhibit, "White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence," will open at the brand's Milan store in Garage Traversi until mid-March.
Dedicated to a series of artistic reimaginings of the LV Trainer, the exhibition presents three updated versions of the famous model. New York artist Lady Pink, Puerto Rican designer Lee Quiñones, and the Rammellzee team worked on them.
With the opening of the unusual exhibition, Louis Vuitton seeks to expand its connections in the arts. The project was created during the lifetime of the brand's creative director Virgil Ablo, who designed the Trainer silhouette in 2019.
In the new look, the sneakers, which later became an integral part of the Maison collection, are presented in low-top and high-top variants. Visitors to the Milan exhibition can buy the models for sale, which will be offered exclusively and not sold anywhere else in the world.
