MANGO

Spanish fashion brand MANGO was born in 1984 in Barcelona, where the company's headquarters are located to this day. In the same city, the first store appeared - on Paseo de Gracia (Paseo de Gracia). The company, founded by brothers Isaac and Nahman Andik, quickly gained popularity - just a year later, a store was opened in another city, this time in Valencia.

MANGO was conceived as a women's brand, designed for customers with an average income. And although for some time now clothes for men have also been produced under it, much less attention is paid to it, its assortment is small. But women's clothing is much more diverse - casual, classic, sports, designed for very young girls and adult women, for a pleasure walk and a business meeting.

The first attempt to enter the world market took place in 1992, when a store was opened in neighboring Portugal, and then in France. In Spain, by that time, there were already 99 stores. By 1997, sales abroad exceeded sales at home. Today, more than three-quarters of all revenues come from global sales.

MANGO became one of the first fashion companies to actively use the Internet. In 1995, the company's website was launched, and in 2000, an online store.

Production of men's clothing began in 2008 - a new brand appeared HE by Mango, in the name of which the first two letters are not only translated from English as "He", but also deciphered as Homini Emerito (Latin catch phrase, which can be translated as "person rewarded for merit"). In the same year, a boutique opened in Barcelona. MANGOspecializing exclusively in clothing for men.

To date, stores MANGO (including those working on a franchise) can be found in many countries of the world, including Russia.
