The Final Edition features the recognizable S-Class design, but in a much sleeker and more refined guise.
At the Geneva Motor Show, the AMG division Mercedes-Benz introduced a luxurious version of the S-Class sedan, called the S 65 Final Edition.
The car will be released in a limited edition of 130 cars. The Final Edition features the recognizable S-Class design, but in a much sleeker and more refined guise. All 130 vehicles will be finished in Obsidian Black jet black with bronze accents. The 20-inch wheels will also be copper-colored.
The luxurious interior will also be styled in the same style - black leather with many small matte copper-colored elements and high-quality black carbon fiber trim elements. Even the floor mats will be black with copper inserts. The center console will be decorated with a plate with the inscription "1 of 130", further emphasizing the exclusive status of the car.
The rear-wheel drive S 65 Final Edition will be equipped with a 6-liter turbocharged V12 petrol engine with a capacity of 621 hp. This is enough to provide the car with a speed of 300 km / h and acceleration to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds. The engine will also be tagged "1 of 130", finished in black to match the color of the car itself. This will be the last of the S-Class cars equipped with such an engine - the tightening of environmental standards is forcing Mercedes-Benz to abandon the use of such solutions.
Nothing is known about the cost yet. But we can safely assume that it will be very high. Included with the luxury car, the buyer will receive everything that can be included in the S-Class package, including a matte black branded case with the inscription “S 65 Final Edition”.
