Italian manufacturer of high-end women's clothing and accessories Miu Miu has teamed up with New Balance to introduce a new line of sneakers.
Reviving the classic 574 silhouette, the partners introduced three all-new colors - "blue", "cognac" and "blanched white".
The collab includes furry versions of the sneakers adorned with fringe in the tone of the main color. Miu Miu and New Balance successfully combine retro sneaker design with the Italian brand's signature aesthetic.
The model is reimagined by going from deconstruction to reconstruction, leaving traces of its evolution. The white sneakers feature smooth uppers and leather with tonal accents, while raw edges complement the blue and brown versions.
As part of the collaboration, the companies enlisted photographer Moni Haworth and model Kayla Dunlap to explore the parallels between fashion and functionality. The new New Balance x Miu Miu sneakers will go on sale worldwide at the end of February.
