The German concern BMW is preparing to release a new sports crossover X6.
The official presentation of the car will take place in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In Russia, the new version of the BMW X6 will go on sale on November 30, 2019. The cost of the cult ancestor of the SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) car segment will be from 5.42 to 6.77 million rubles.
For the BMW X6, this will be the third generation. The production of the new car, which combines features of a full-fledged SUV and coupe, will be launched in Spartanburg, USA. The new X6 will be available in four variants, and for the Russian market German concern BMW will also bring four special packages of the most requested options available for the xDrive30d and xDrive40i versions. Their cost will vary from 220 thousand to 1.6 million rubles. For cars of the M50d and M50i versions, the M Special package will be offered for 990 thousand rubles.

Compared to the second generation BMW X6, the dimensions are slightly increased, and the car itself has become lower. The rear row of seats in the new version of the X6 received the option of folding the ratio 40:20:40. For the first time, BMW is equipping the X6 with the BMW Iconic Glow Grille, which illuminates the inside of the grille with a soft white light when the vehicle is unlocked and unlocked. The car will receive a Sky Lounge panoramic roof, the transparent surface of which will be increased compared to the second generation on the 83%. More than 15,000 star-shaped LEDs will be built into the roof of the X6, and a special light path will provide access to the doors.
The new version of the new sports crossover will receive air suspension on all wheels with five levels and automatic leveling. In the top configuration, the X6 will be equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 530 hp. and 21-inch wheels. As an additional option, the Driving Assistant Professional package will be provided, which includes steering assistance, an assistant when driving in heavy traffic, a lane keeping system, side collision protection and a pedestrian response system.
