Technology company Morning Consult has released a list of Gen Z favorite brands for people born after 1995.
The rankings were compiled from a global survey of young people aged 18 to 21, in which analysts measured consumer acceptance and trust, as well as brand impact on the community.
Google topped Gen Z's Most Loved Brands, ahead of Netflix and Youtube. Amazon and Oreo also made it into the top five favorite brands among the youth audience. Places from 6 to 10 went to PlayStation, Walmart, Target, as well as the manufacturer of chips and snacks Doritos and Nintendo.
“This year, the oldest members of Gen Z are graduating from college and going to work. In the coming years, their habits will play a huge role in shaping American culture and commerce. These are the brands that set the example for defeating America's young adults.
Gen Z's Most Loved Brands
Separately, ratings of the best brands among Generation Z were compiled based on gender. So, among the favorite brands of men in the top 10 were Nike and Marvel Studios, while the girls voted in favor of Bath & Body Works, Disney and Spotify. The top 10 men's version of the ranking includes Xbox, Pizza Hut, Microsoft and Skittles, while the top 20 women's versions include Dove, Instagram, Starbucks, Vans and Apple.
