And today it became known about the temporary renaming of the KitKat chocolate to YouTube Break. The rebranding will be carried out exclusively in the UK. In this way, companies Nestle и Google want to celebrate a double anniversary - the 80th anniversary of the KitKat brand and the 10th anniversary of the YouTube video hosting service. In total, it is planned to produce 600,000 YouTube Break chocolates.
This is the most notable KitKat rebranding in decades. The companies hope that among YouTube users there are many fans of this chocolate bar. At the same time, when watching a video, users will be offered KitKat ads.
