The first running shoes have been developed for doctors and healthcare workers who spend the entire working day “on their feet”.
The largest sportswear manufacturer Nike has announced the release of a special line of running shoes, which will be designed for doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who spend all day on their feet. The company notes that the model developed for the "heroes of every day" will be called the Air Zoom Pulse.
Before going on sale, the product was tested by employees of one of the children's hospitals in Portland, USA. Nike has developed a new model, taking into account the peculiarities of the work of medical workers. The Air Zoom Pulse has no laces and is equipped with a special elastic band on the heel to make it as easy as possible to put on and take off the sneakers, including with one hand. It features enhanced cushioning and traction to keep healthcare workers free and secure in continuous work environments, including on slippery surfaces.

“How can a shoe be comfortable for long standings and versatile enough to handle the fast movements required in emergencies? The answer is a full-rubber Pulse outsole and a flexible sockliner with Zoom Air, which makes the fit feel soft, snug and secure.” commented in Nike.
The main Air Zoom Pulse will be available in black, but Nike will also be releasing six new versions of the shoe in multi-colour colors soon. It is known that the proceeds from the sale of the line of funds will be directed to the fund of the hospital in which the product was tested. The new sneakers for the "heroes of every day" will go on sale on December 7, their price is still kept secret.
