Air Force 1 Low "1837" perhaps?
Jewelry house Tiffany & Co. will present a collaboration with Nike. Rumors surfaced last week about a possible partnership between the brands that were officially confirmed on Nike's official Instagram account.
The photo in the published post shows a box with a pair of shoes with the Nike logo in Tiffany & Co. colors. "@nike x @tiffanyandco, a legendary pair. Coming soon..." the description reads. In 24 hours, the post garnered more than 1 million likes.
The Nike x Tiffany & Co. collaboration will be the first since the "Tiffany Blue" color was introduced for the Nike SB Dunk Low in 2005.
Sources suggest that the collaboration will include an updated Air Force 1 Low model - in black, with a nubuck upper and "Tiffany Blue" ticks on the sides. In addition, the model will get chrome embellishments on the torture and engraving of the fashion house. And the laces will be styled as the handles of Tiffany & Co.
While there is no official release date information, insiders speculate that the Air Force 1 Low "1837" will be available this spring, priced around $400.
Update The sneakers will be on sale by March 7. The Nike Air Force 1 "1837" is made of black suede that contrasts with the Nike logo in the signature colors of Tiffany & Co. The shoe comes with several sterling silver accessories - sterling silver whistle, shoe horn, shoe bush and shoelace tag for the laces of the sneakers. The model will be sold at select locations, including two Tiffany & Co. stores in New York City, through the Nike SNKRS app and at select Nike partner stores in the U.S. and Canada.
