Nike has announced the launch of a sneaker subscription service for kids.
Called Nike Adventure Club, the service caters to kids ages two to ten and delivers four, six, or twelve pairs of shoes a year. The subscription price is $20, $30, or $50 per month, respectively.
"Nike Adventure Club allows children to regularly select shoes for proper shoe fit as they develop and taste," according to a post posted on the company's blog.
In order to use the service, you must register with the Nike Adventure Club and select a subscription to Nike and Converse shoes. Choose from over 100 pairs from new collections in a variety of styles. Depending on the type of subscription chosen, the company will deliver a personalized package to the customer every month, every two months, or once a quarter. If the shoes don't fit, Nike promises to exchange them for free. In addition, the subscription can be suspended or canceled at any time.
In addition to a pair of sneakers or sneakers, the set includes a special “adventure set”, which will include a small gift from the company, as well as illustrated instructions for outdoor activities and outdoor games for the whole family, and branded stickers. The company's partner in the project is the non-profit organization KaBoom.
Nike Adventure Club is also an environmental project. Nike promises to pick up used shoes twice a year, which will be sent for recycling. If, after six months, the shoes are in good condition, the company will donate them to families in need. In case of interest, the customer reserves the right to keep the pair of shoes.
For the first time about the launch in test mode of the subscription service for Nike kids shoes announced back in 2017. During the testing phase, the project was known as EasyKicks. The first subscriptions to Nike Adventure Club became available to customers in the US starting August 12.
