Essential sports pieces stand out with vibrant geometric patterns and color gradients from one of today's most celebrated artists.
The German sportswear and footwear brand has unveiled a new collection created in collaboration with the Argentine-Spanish artist Felipe Pantone, known for his work in the style of graffiti and graphic illusions. Its distinctive feature is bright colors and unusual geometric solutions.
The Puma x Felipe Pantone collection includes the brand's staples, such as sports t-shirts, jackets, shorts and trousers, in which classic silhouettes are emphasized by the active use of translucent fabrics, as well as mesh and knitted inserts. And the uniqueness of the new line is given by the use of color gradients and unique geometric motifs, which are the hallmark of the artist.
Sneaker lovers, of course, are also not left without bright novelties. As part of the collaboration with Pantone, two options for sports shoes are presented. They are new versions of the Cruise Rider, with a rainbow midsole and white mesh upper, and Mirage Tech, made in total black with glitter inserts.
According to Pantone himself, his goal was to create a kind of unique uniform that he and his team could wear both during work and art, and during leisure. In the collection, he tried to combine the two sides of his work - street style, expressed in graffiti elements, and high-tech details, representing the essence of the artist's work at the intersection of art and technology.
The collection is already available on the site Puma, as well as in retail stores of the brand. Individual items are $130 for sneakers, $180-200 for jacket, $80-100 for trousers or T-shirt, $40-70 for top or shorts.
