Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled a new model of electric scooter, taking another big step in the field of modern eco-friendly vehicles.

The new model Electric Scooter 4 Pro was created on the basis of its predecessor and received improved performance. The electric scooter is capable of accelerating up to 25km/h and driving up to 45 kilometers in a special eco mode.

Constructed from 'aerospace' grade aluminum, the new electric scooter features an upgraded motor capable of delivering 700W of power, as well as a 12,400mAh battery.

The design of the Electric Scooter 4 Pro retains the recognizable features of its predecessor. The weight of the electric scooter is 17 kg, and the maximum allowable weight is 120 kg. The dimensions of the scooter have been increased to provide the most comfortable ride. New options include a magnetic charging port and tubeless, puncture-resistant self-sealing rubber.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the official release date of the new device. The cost of an electric scooter will be about $665.
