The new cookie is meant to be a peace offering to UFOs and the start of a beautiful interplanetary friendship.
The US Congress is preparing to submit a report on the phenomenon of UFOs (“Unidentified Flying Objects”) - the planned date for the report is June 29th. The public, waiting for the presentation of declassified "hot" photos and videos, is already jumping on the edges of their chairs, and the Oreo cookie manufacturer cannot get past the topic that stirs the imagination of millions.
According to the brand's social media posts, Oreo has created a limited edition alien-themed cookie. Black packaging with hieroglyphic signs in the form of a starry sky contains a circle in the middle. It is supposed to put cookies in it to create a whole picture. And then, according to the suggestion on the pack itself, the composition must be placed within sight of the sky.
Why is this needed? The answer is in the title of the series - The Offering ("Offer"), the new "oreos" are not just cookies, but a real peace offer to aliens. What could be better for establishing interplanetary contact than offering guests a cup of tea with a universal symbol of peace and kindness - a cookie.
An advertising campaign for the new series, designed to connect the brand with a significant event in popular culture, has already been launched on social networks. A series of videos about the new product has been published - in them, representatives of the brand leave cookies for aliens in order to discover its loss and circles in the form of "Oreo" the next day. And on Twitter, users can take part in a poll about what kind of Oreo and milk aliens would prefer in case of a visit to Earth, as well as where it is better to place a tasty “peace offer”.
The limited edition cookies are distributed free of charge, excluding shipping and handling costs. The Offering pack can be obtained by leaving your data on the site, such as email. However, at the time of writing the news, the offer was no longer available, visitors are still invited to leave their contact information and receive a notification about the appearance of cookies in stock.
