As expected, after a difficult period, spring will bring hope and paint the fashion catwalks in delicate light shades.
Pantone has unveiled its traditional Pantone Fashion Color Trend report, which predicts the colors of the Spring/Summer 2021 season for the upcoming New York Fashion Week.
The Pantone Color Institute named in its forecast the top ten colors for the next season, and five classic colors were also identified, which will be used by designers in new collections as basic ones.
According to Pantone, the color palette of the season will include the following colors: orange-gold Marigold, sky blue Cerulean, reddish-brown shade of autumn leaves Rust, pale yellow Illuminating, deep blue French Blue, as well as Green Ash, Burnt Coral, Mint, Amethyst Orchid, and Raspberry Sorbet.
And among the timeless classics in the palette of designers are blue-black Inkwell, calm gray Ultimate Gray, light beige Buttercream, sandy Desert Mist and green Willow.
It is expected that after months of bad news and a difficult economic situation, the fashion world will still be filled with spring optimism and lightness, which will be reflected in the choice of colors and textures for designers for spring-summer outfits. According to Pantone Color Institute Executive Director Leatrice Eisman, "The Spring/Summer 2021 colors combine a high level of comfort and relaxation with sparks of energy that inspire and uplift."
