Images of the new Motorola RAZR smartphone with a foldable screen have appeared on the Web. Unlike previously provided images, it is claimed that in this case we are talking about official renders.
The novelty exactly copies the famous "clamshell", presented in 2004 and sold in the amount of more than 130 million pieces. In fact, we have the same “classic” before us, only instead of a physical keyboard it has a large touch screen. Well, the proportions of the body are somewhat different.
The screen diagonal in the unfolded state will be 6.2 inches, its resolution will be 876x2142 pixels. The resolution of the external screen is 800x600 pixels. It looks like the smartphone will only have one camera that can be used for selfies when folded. Also on the "chin" under the screen you can see something that looks like a fingerprint scanner.
It is alleged that the smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. The amount of RAM will be 4-6 GB, depending on the model, and the permanent memory will be 128-256 GB. It is also reported that the device will receive a very modest 2730 mAh battery (it is possible that there is simply no place for a more capacious battery in an ultra-thin body). But do not forget, all these characteristics so far are completely taken from rumors.
Most likely Motorola will officially announce the new RAZR on November 13th during a press conference in Los Angeles. As stated in the invitation to the event, visitors are waiting for "a long-awaited performance of the revived legend." Surely then we will find out the cost of the device. Earlier rumors claimed that the price would start at $1500.
