The first car to receive the updated logo will be the Peugeot 308 hatchback.
French automotive company Peugeot, one of the largest manufacturers of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the European market, has officially unveiled the new logo.
According to the company's press service, from now on the renewed trademark will be used all over the world. The corporate identity will be changed in the dealer centers and communication materials of the company.
The logo for 2021 is a triangular coat of arms with a lion's head inside, as well as the word "Peugeot" on top. Previously, the animal was inscribed in its entirety in the coat of arms. Peugeot emphasizes that the updated logo is a symbol of French style and elegance, multiplied by the brand's technology.
With the update of the logo, the company begins a new page in its history. In production, it is supposed to focus on creating the most technologically advanced cars in their class. The first car to receive the updated logo will be the Peugeot 308 hatchback, which the company will introduce on March 18, 2021.
The new logo was designed by the international design studio Peugeot Design Lab. Since the founding of the company in 1850, this is already the tenth change of the Peugeot logo, the main symbol of which throughout the whole time there was a lion.
