The Italian company Pirelli, one of the world's largest tire manufacturers, has released a digital graphic novel that tells the story of the brand.
The five-episode story features Pirelli's 147 years of history, technology and innovation, and the brand's corporate culture and communications.
The five episodes of the graphic novel "Pirelli an Italian in the world" are filmed using a variety of styles and techniques that include illustrations, archival images, and graphic design in motion, allowing viewers to access additional content as they watch.
Each of the five episodes is approximately 20 minutes long, accompanied by specially created music and illustrations, and covers the history of the company from 1872 to founding of the GB Pirelli brand & C. in Milan, to the present day. The project, created to disseminate information about the most important milestones in the history of the company, is based on materials from the archives of the Fondazione Pirelli based on the novel by Professor Carlo Bellavite Pellegrini Pirelli. Innovation and Passion".

In the first episode, Rubber of the Future, company founder Giovanni Battista asks himself what drives the mob to revolt in May 1898 in Milan. The second episode "The Birth of a Brand" tells how the son of Giovanni Alberto inherits the company and takes the first steps towards internationalization. The third episode, "Rubber Gets Popular," focuses on the Cinturato tire series that was featured in the first Pirelli calendar. The fourth series, From Roads to Information Highway, crosses the threshold of the new millennium and tells about the updated strategy of the group and the release of new technological products. The final episode, "The Journey Continues," focuses on the reorganization since 2000, its development focus on the consumer market, technological advances, and the brand's growing strength.
The five episodes, created in an innovative format and describing the industrial growth of Pirelli, are closely intertwined with the structure of the economy and society, years of real trials, changes in management and goals achieved.
