The fashion for tablet computers has reached such a manufacturer as R.I.M., which is better known for its communicators blackberry. It became known that the company is in full swing developing a tablet, which has already received the name blackpad.
In the beginning, talk from what R.I.M. working on his own tablet were nothing more than rumors. The first serious confirmation that blackpad to be was the company's acquisition of the blackpad.com domain (which has nothing as of yet). However, there are still more rumors than information.
The latter include a message that the tablet will work under its own operating system, and not under BlackBerry OS 6, which is installed on the company's smartphones. It is not difficult to assume that the device will be equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. But where the estimated price of $499 came from is unknown.
